Chargeback Policy

1. Overview

LiThoughts is operated by SPOT369 LLC ("we", "us", "our"). A chargeback occurs when you ask your bank or credit card company to reverse a charge. This policy explains our approach to chargebacks and how they affect your LiThoughts account.

2. Before Filing a Chargeback

We strongly encourage you to contact us before filing a chargeback. Most billing issues can be resolved faster through direct communication than through the chargeback process (which can take 30-90 days).

If you have a billing concern:

  • Check your email for subscription confirmation and renewal notices
  • Review your plan details in the Usage Settings page within LiThoughts
  • Email [email protected] and we will work to resolve the issue
  • Review our Refund Policy to see if you qualify for a refund

3. What Happens When a Chargeback Is Filed

When we receive a chargeback notification:

  • Your LiThoughts account access may be suspended until the dispute is resolved
  • We will submit documentation to the payment processor including proof of service delivery, usage data, subscription agreement, and communication history
  • The payment processor will review evidence from both sides

4. Friendly Fraud

We monitor for chargebacks filed despite legitimate service use. If a chargeback is determined to be without merit:

  • The charge may be reinstated by your payment processor
  • Your LiThoughts account may be permanently suspended
  • You may be prohibited from creating new accounts
  • Outstanding balances may be referred to collections

5. Legitimate Chargebacks

If your payment method was used without your authorization:

  • File a chargeback with your bank immediately
  • Contact us at [email protected] so we can investigate and secure your account
  • We will cooperate fully with fraud investigations

6. Prevention

To avoid unexpected charges:

  • Review your subscription plan and billing frequency before purchasing
  • Cancel your subscription before the next billing cycle if you no longer wish to use LiThoughts
  • Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period after cancellation

7. Account Reinstatement

If your account was suspended due to a chargeback and the dispute is resolved in our favor, you may request reinstatement by emailing [email protected]. Reinstatement is at our discretion.
