Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: May 6, 2026
LiThoughts is a product of SPOT369 LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to your use of LiThoughts and all SPOT369 products. It supplements the Terms of Service, which govern the broader contractual relationship.
1. Purpose
This AUP defines acceptable behavior on LiThoughts and across all SPOT369 products. The goal is simple: keep the platform safe and useful for legitimate professional users, and clearly state what is not allowed. Violations of this policy may result in warnings, feature suspension, account suspension, or account termination.
2. Prohibited content
You agree not to use LiThoughts to create, publish, schedule, or distribute content that:
- Constitutes spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or low-effort filler designed to inflate posting volume
- Harasses, threatens, intimidates, or defames any individual or organization
- Is illegal under applicable law in your jurisdiction or the United States
- Impersonates another person, brand, or organization in a way that could mislead readers about authorship or authority
- Contains material that is hateful, discriminatory, or designed to dehumanize on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Promotes violence, self-harm, or sexual content involving minors
- Knowingly publishes false information presented as fact in a way that could harm individuals or markets
- Infringes on copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual-property rights of any third party
3. Prohibited activities
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from LiThoughts beyond what the user interface and documented APIs allow
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of LiThoughts (except where this is permitted by applicable law)
- Use LiThoughts in a way that violates LinkedIn’s Terms of Service, User Agreement, or Professional Community Policies
- Build automation on top of LiThoughts that posts to LinkedIn without explicit per-post user review
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts, voice profiles, drafts, or any other data
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account
- Bypass or attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or fair-usage controls described in our Fair Usage Policy
- Use multiple free accounts to evade paid plan limits
4. LinkedIn integration responsibilities
When you connect LiThoughts to your LinkedIn account, you remain responsible for everything that is published through that integration:
- You are the publisher of record for any post that LiThoughts schedules or publishes on your behalf. LiThoughts only acts on explicit user actions (you click publish or schedule).
- You must comply with LinkedIn’s Professional Community Policies and User Agreement at all times.
- You must not use LiThoughts to violate LinkedIn’s automation, anti-spam, or third-party access policies.
- If LinkedIn suspends or restricts your account, LiThoughts is not liable for that action. We will cooperate with you to provide records of your activity inside LiThoughts if it helps your appeal.
5. AI content responsibilities
LiThoughts generates draft content using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini). The user is the human in the loop:
- You review every draft before publishing. Drafts are not auto-published without an explicit user action.
- You are responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness, and legality of every post you choose to publish, even if a draft was AI-generated.
- You acknowledge that AI may produce content that is inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable, and you treat AI drafts as starting points to be edited rather than authoritative output.
- For posts where the AI assistance is material to the final content, we recommend disclosing the use of AI to your audience as appropriate, in line with the disclosure norms of your industry and audience.
6. Reporting violations
If you become aware of content or behavior on LiThoughts that violates this AUP, please email [email protected] with details. We aim to acknowledge reports within two business days.
7. Enforcement
We use a tiered enforcement approach proportionate to the severity of the violation:
- Warning. For minor or first-time issues, we send a warning explaining the violation and what we expect going forward.
- Feature suspension. For repeat or moderate violations, we may temporarily suspend specific features (for example, scheduled publishing or the Comment Assistant) while keeping the rest of the account active.
- Account suspension. For severe violations or persistent failure to address warnings, we may suspend the account pending review.
- Termination. For the most serious violations (illegal content, fraud, abuse of integrations), we may terminate the account immediately. Refunds are not provided for accounts terminated for AUP violations.
Where we believe content or activity may violate the law, we cooperate with law enforcement under valid legal process.
